exhibiting characteristics of a kaleidoscope; constantly changing in pattern, color, scene, relations, sequence of things, etc.; having a succession of changing phases, events, or activity; marked by tremendous variety; multifarious.

No question, the trajectory being woven by the novel coronavirus has been kaleidoscopic.
