Definition
1. performed with, or demonstrating, art or skill. 2. skillful or clever in attaining an end, especially by the use of cunning or craft; inventive and imaginative; adroit.

- The recently released movie "The Bank Job," which is based on a famous bank robbery in London, has been winning high praise from critics who describe it as perhaps the most artfully made heist film in over a decade.

- You should have been there when Julia spoke. What an artful performance! She made every argument cogently and very succinctly, and she used all sorts of audio, video, and other documentary evidence to support her points. The entire audience was in awe.
- During yesterday's meeting, did you notice how Lauren was trying to suggest, in a very artful, indirect sort of way, that we let her work from home three days a week?
